CHALLENGE

Promoting young talent locally – that’s what the English football club Manchester City is all about with its charity project CitizensGiving. The “Young Leaders” campaign is designed to showcase young talent in six different cities around the world: Ghana, Mumbai, Philadelphia, New York, Melbourne and Manchester. Manchester City runs football schools in all of these locations – and each of them has its own problems to overcome.

PROCESS

Instead of sending a large film crew around the world, a DOP goes on the road and works with local freelancers to produce the clips. Our approach not only promotes resource-efficient production and supports local creatives, but also guarantees a consistently high quality of the clips.

SOLUTION

The fans and the public are made aware of the young talents, the social problems and how they are tackled every day through strong images, emotional content and the Young Leaders at the heart of our films. We spread the message through the social media channels of Manchester City with and organic reach of over 50 million followers worldwide.
